Creative Direction

As part of the Automorph Network exhibition “Creative Differences” at the London Design Biennale, I led the creative direction, shaping the project’s visual language, narrative, and tone.

The exhibition presented a collaboration between scientists, architects and designers around the concept of self-shaping matter. Exploring how difference, rather than uniformity, can act as a generative force in both nature and design. Drawing on phenomena from biology, physics, and material science, the project reflects on a world in constant transformation, where matter is not static but continuously evolving.

My role involved developing a cohesive visual identity for the exhibition, alongside conceptualizing and curating the video content presented within the installation. This included translating complex scientific ideas into an accessible and engaging narrative, and defining a clear tone that connects the different elements of the exhibition, spatial, visual, and conceptual.
