Research, content development & interviews

The exhibition explores how gender is shaped and expressed across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood, both in private and public spaces. It examines how gender identity is formed, often wordlessly, and how it consciously and unconsciously shapes our choices in life.

From expectations before birth to toys, speech patterns, consumer culture, media, and even the design of streets and cities, the world constantly signals how we should behave and who we are. These signals reinforce gender divisions, perpetuating inequality and social conditioning.

As part of my work on the exhibition, I conducted preparatory research that supported the development of the project’s content and narrative.
