Neve Tama - Documentary Video Series

Client: Personal Project

2022

Aerial Cinematography: Roni Panai
Video Editor: Dana Rosenbaum

A series of documentary videos produced as part of the project Neve Tama. The videos follow different stages in the evacuation and demolition process of a residential building slated for destruction.

They trace the unfolding of the building’s final moments: from residents saying goodbye to their homes, to the workers dismantling and selling the building’s metals; from the guard temporarily inhabiting the empty structure, to the relocation of the tree that stood at the building’s entrance, and finally to the demolition itself.

Together, the videos reveal the often-unseen layers of the demolition process, the people, actions, and transitions that take place behind the scenes. By documenting these moments, the series brings attention to the fragile threshold between presence and disappearance, and to the overlooked human and material narratives embedded in buildings about to vanish.
